Clearly the infernal things are dangerous.
And certainly, there’s nothing funny about a professional golfer getting hurt, regardless of how it happens.
Even so, the thought on many golf fans’ minds has to be, “You got hurt jumping off a Segway, Sneds?”
“I felt a pop in my knee and pain,” the golfer said in a statement. “Fortunately this is a relatively minor injury and no surgery is required, so this is good news.”
The Vanderbilt grad has been diagnosed with a strained ACL and bruised tibia. Even without surgery, the timetable for his return couple be a few weeks to a couple of months.
